Directions
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
- In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage, stirring and breaking up the meat with the back of a wooden spoon, until cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes; remove to a plate.
- Heat the oil in the same skillet. Add the yellow peppers and onion. Cook, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are lightly colored and crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add the wine and garlic. Cook until most of the liquid evaporates, about 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes, crushed red pepper, salt, and browned sausage, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the vegetables are tender and the sauce is heated through, about 10 minutes.
- While the sauce simmers, add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot.
