  1. Preheat oven to broil or 400°F (200°C) if baking.
  2. Rinse and pat dry the feta cheese.
  3. If using fresh red peppers, chop them. If using frozen, thaw and drain them. Chop the parsley. Pit, rinse, and coarsely chop the olives.
  4. Cut the feta cheese into 1/2-inch-thick slices and divide evenly among 4 small oven-safe dishes, or arrange in a single layer in a larger one.
  5. Sprinkle the oregano and pepper over the cheese.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the chopped red peppers, olives, and olive oil. Spoon this mixture over and around the cheese.
  7. Broil for about 5 minutes, or bake for 10-15 minutes, until the edges of the cheese are golden and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot with pita bread.
