Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425 . In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium. Season the frozen chicken with salt and pepper. Add the seasoned frozen chicken to the skillet, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the marinara sauce, reduce heat to medium-low, and flip chicken. Cover and cook for an additional 8 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and shred chicken using two forks. Return skillet to medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer and cook until marinara is thickened, about 2 minutes more. Remove from heat and stir in basil.
- Arrange the bottom halves of slider buns on a baking sheet. Toast the buns in the oven until light golden, about 5 minutes.
- Top toasted bottom buns with the cooked chicken mixture and the mozzarella cheese. Close the sandwich with the top halves of the slider buns.
- In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush bun tops with butter mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake until cheese is melted and top buns are toasted, about 7 minutes.
