  1. Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken about 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked through and no longer pink. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Meanwhile, sauté the mushrooms and pepper rings in butter until slightly tender, but not mushy; set aside (about 5-7 minutes).
