  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Cut the chicken thighs into pieces, season with salt and pepper, and let sit for ten minutes.
  3. Steam the broccoli for 5 minutes until just tender, then place in a casserole dish.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and place into the casserole dish.
  5. Add water and sherry to the skillet, deglaze the pan, and simmer to reduce the liquid by half.
