  1. Dice the onions and the potatoes. The potatoes should be peeled and diced into roughly 1/2 inch cubes.
  2. Cook the onions at the bottom of your soup pot. When the onion is translucent, brown the ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
  3. When the beef is browned, add in the can of diced tomatoes (undrained) and the tomato paste. Stir until the tomato sauce is mixed in consistently on medium heat. And leave to simmer.
  4. Once the soup is simmering, add in the corn, celery, and potatoes.
  5. Simmer for 30 minutes over medium heat, then serve
