Ingredients

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Chop the broccoli and peel and dice the onion and garlic.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the broccoli, onion, and garlic, and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the cream cheese to the pan and stir until it melts into the vegetables.
  5. Gradually pour in the vegetable broth, stopping if the mixture becomes too watery.
  6. Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of pasta water. Add the pasta to the broccoli cream mixture, adding pasta water by the spoonful until creamy. Cook on medium heat for another 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Stir in the lemon juice and honey.
  8. Serve immediately.
