Ingredients
Balsamic vinegar
1 tsp or 5g
Directions
- Preheat the broiler to high and arrange a rack in the top third of the oven. Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.
- In a medium shallow bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, vegetable oil, and pepper.
- Dip the carrots and tofu pieces into the soy sauce mixture to coat, allowing any excess sauce to drip back into the bowl. Arrange the coated carrots and tofu on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
- Broil for about 20 minutes, turning the tofu every 5 minutes to brown on all four sides and flipping the carrots after 10 minutes. The carrots and tofu should be browned on all sides.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. To the reserved sauce, add the chopped scallion, vinegar, and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
- Add the broiled carrots and tofu to the sauce and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
