  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Remove slices of bacon from their package. Set aside two to four strips of bacon for each pork chop you'll bake, depending on the size of the bacon.
  3. Place the bacon in a large, oven-safe skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until lightly browned and still flexible, 6 to 7 minutes. Drain the bacon slices on a paper towel-lined plate. Remove any excess bacon grease from the skillet.
  4. Combine garlic powder, seasoning salt, basil, and oregano in a small bowl. Season pork chops.
  5. Wrap several strips of bacon around each pork chop. Secure the bacon with toothpicks as needed to be sure it doesn't unravel as it cooks.
  6. Melt butter into a skillet over medium high heat. Cook each medallion for 4 minutes on each side.
  7. Set the bacon-wrapped pork chops in a single layer on a baking pan. Put the pork chops into the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the center of the pork chops reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  8. Take the pork chops out of the oven, place the baking pan on a cooling rack and let the chops rest for three minutes.
  9. Remove the toothpicks and serve.
