- Wash carrot and beetroot in running water, before peeling.
- Peel and chop beetroot and carrot into small pieces.
- Pour 1/2 cup water in the blender. Add carrot, beetroot and ginger. Squeeze lemon over it and blend until smooth.
- Strain the juice by placing a fine mesh sieve over a large bowl and pour prepared mixture over it.
- Press the mixture with spatula to get maximum juice out of it. Discard the pulp.
- Add ice if you desire and drink immediately to get maximum nutrients.
