- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Remove the apple cores and trim a 1/2-inch slice from the bottom of each apple to sit flat. Place in an ovenproof skillet or baking dish.
- Drizzle apples with syrup, fill cavities with walnuts and raisins, placing extra around the apples. Dot with butter. Bake until tender, 40 to 50 minutes.
