- 1) Combine water, sugar and yeast. Mix and let sit for 10 minutes. 2) Add flour to a stand mixer bowl along with yogurt, avocado oil and salt. When the yeast mixture is ready add yeast to flour. 3) Combine with dough hook in stand mixer until all ingredients are mixed together. (Add more water and flour as needed until dough is not very sticky and not too dry). 4) After dough has mixed in mixture remove dough hook and knead in bowl for a couple minutes until dough is smooth. Then form into a ball and place it in an oiled bowl covered with a damp kitchen towel and in a warm place to rise for 30-60 minutes. 5) After dough has risen for designated time flour your work surface and divide dough into 6-8 equal pieces. Roll out into a circle and place in a cast iron skillet with some avocado oil. 6) Mince or use a garlic press and put garlic into a small pot with butter and let garlic get fragrant. Turn heat to low and brush each piece of naan after it is finished cooking.
