  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble when cool.
  3. Boil the broccoli and carrots in a saucepan for 2 to 3 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking water.
  4. Mix the cream cheese, milk, and garlic powder until blended.
  5. Return the vegetables to the saucepan. Add the cream cheese mixture and onions; stir until evenly coated, adding reserved water if needed.
