  1. For the Flax Bread: Mix the chia seeds, ground flax, water, 1/2 t garlic powder, and 1/2 t salt in a bowl. Add more water as the seeds absorb the liquid until it reaches a runny consistency but still hold together well. Spread the mixture on a lined or sprayed baking sheet to about 1/4 inch thickness. Bake at 300-315 F for 35-45 mins. After about 40 mins, test to see if it holds together when you lift it off the tray. If it does, remove from the oven and slice into 6 "slice" servings. Flip the slices over and return to the oven for 5-10 mins
  2. Assemble the cheese and and tomato slices between two slices of the flax bread. Toast in the oven or in a frying pan.
