- Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with lukewarm water. Add a pinch of salt. Bring to a full boil over medium heat and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, cover with a lid, and let stand for 11 minutes. Drain and cool eggs under cold water, then peel.
