- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Drain, chop, and set aside.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat the vegetable oil in the skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken breasts for about 2 minutes on each side, then remove from the skillet.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook on medium heat for about 30 seconds. Deglaze the pan with a small amount of chicken stock, then add the remaining stock.
- Add half of the chopped bacon to the chicken broth. Return the chicken to the pan, arranging lemon slices around the breasts. Simmer on low heat, covered, for about 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
