  • Almonds

    Nuts, raw

    ¹⁄₁₆ oz (23 whole kernels) or 1g

  • Lettuce

    Romaine or cos, raw

  • Scallions

    Spring onions or scallions (includes tops and bulb), raw

Directions

  1. In a hot pan, add oil and heat until shimmery (30 seconds to 1 minute) Add meat and cook on high for about 2 minutes, tossing occasionally.
  2. Add onions and peppers and continue to cook on high, occasionally tossing, until browned- about 5 minutes. Add garlic, then sesame oil.
  3. Halve and toast the almonds.
  4. When the steak and veggies are well coated and the sauce has been absorbed, remove from heat.
  5. Spoon into lettuce cups and top with diced spring onions or scallions and almonds Enjoy!
