  1. In a 12-inch skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until browned and crisp. Drain on paper towels, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings in the skillet.
  2. Add Brussels sprouts to the drippings in the skillet; cook and stir over medium heat for 4 minutes. Add broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes. Uncover and cook for an additional 2 to 4 minutes, or until the liquid is nearly evaporated. Add cream and cook for 4 more minutes, or until thickened.
  3. Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and cracked pepper.
