Directions
- Marinade Chicken with salt, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, half the cumin, 2/3 of the turmeric, chili powder, paprika, corn starch, and oil overnight or at least an hour
- Pack tightly in loaf pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until internal temp reaches 165°.
- Heat remaining cumin and turmeric in butter for 1 minute
- add rice and toast for 4-6 minutes.
- Add broth and boil until rice is just visible at the top.
- Turn heat down to a simmer, cover and cook for 8-10 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed.
- Let rest, covered, for at least 5-10 for optimal tenderness.
