- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Wash the kale and pat dry with a paper towel. Now carefully tear the leaves from the stem, then rip them further into bite size pieces. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the olive oil, cayenne, paprika, cumin and sea salt. Stir thoroughly and make sure the spices don’t clump together.
- Add the kale leaves to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the mixture of spices and oil.
- Lay the kale out on a flat cooking tray, making sure that the pieces do not overlap. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake the kale until the edges turn slightly brown, about 10-12 minutes. The chips should be slightly crunchy, particularly around the edges.
