Taco Pie

  ½ cup or 40g

  Salad or cooking

• Ground beef

  70% lean meat / 30% fat, patty, cooked, pan-broiled

  8 oz or 227g

• Dry taco seasoning mix

  Campbell soup company, pace

  2 tbsp or 5g

• Chicken breast

  Broilers or fryers, meat only, raw

  1 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook chicken) or 71g

• Cheddar cheese

  ½ cup, shredded or 57g

• Egg

  Whole, fresh eggs

  3 extra large or 168g

• Egg white

  Raw, fresh eggs

  3 large or 99g

• Onions

  Raw

  ¼ cup, chopped or 40g

• Salsa

  Sauce, ready-to-serve

  1 cup or 259g

• Quark

  Cheese

Directions

1. Combine quark, flour, oatmeal, olive oil and salt. Combine into a dough and knead briefly. Roll out and place in a pie pan.
2. Combine the rest of the ingredients and pour into the prepared crust.
3. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes and let cool for 10 minutes. Cut into 8 slices.
