Directions

  1. Place bacon in a cold pan over medium heat. Cook until desired crispiness is reached.
  2. Lightly toast bread and cut a hole in the center.
  3. Heat skillet on medium low and melt butter in skillet until just bubbly. Place toast (include the cutout) in the skillet and turn to coat both sides.
  4. Break egg in the center of the hole and cover with lid (it's best to use a glass lid to watch progress of the egg).
  5. Once egg white is more than half set, turn toast and egg with spatula over for an over easy egg (or continue with lid on for a sunny side up).
  6. Remove to plate and serve with bacon and toasted cut-out. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
