Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grind sunflower seeds to medium-fine in a food processor. Mix in wheat germ and salt, and set aside.
- Without washing the food processor, chop the celery, onion, and red bell pepper, then grate in the carrot. Add the remaining ingredients, including the sunflower seed mixture, and pulse a few times just until combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties and place on an oiled baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes per side, or until brown.
- Alternatively, the mixture can be shaped into meatballs or used to make a shallow meatloaf.
