- Gather Ingredients, microwaveable bowl, Knife, spoon/butterknife for stirring.
- Slice 1/6th of Velveeta cheese block (appx 1/2 inch). Then slice that into smaller cubes (makes for easier melting). Place in microwaveable bowl.
- Pour 1/4th to 1/2 of Rotel can into microwaveable bowl. The juices in the can are necessary to the dip.
- Microwave on High for 2 minutes. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED. The dip will melt/froth over the bowl quickly. Stop microwave and stir to evenly distribute mixture. Place back in microwave until the dip is close to froth-over. Repeat stopping and stirring. Taste for warmth of dip.
- OPTIONAL .... While microwaving and stirring, if dip is noticeably stiff (i.e. you cannot get a chip into the dip) Add milk to the dip, then resume microwaving.
- After preferred temperature has been reached, and tasted, Serve with Tortilla chips, or any other dippable food.
