Pizza Salad

• Tomatoes

  Red, ripe, raw, year round average

  1 medium whole or 123g

• Chives

  Raw

  1 tbsp chopped or 3g

• Tomato sauce

  No salt added

  1 cup or 245g

• Vegetable oil

  Natreon canola, high stability, non trans, high oleic (70%)

  ½ cup or 112g

• Olives

  Ripe, canned (small-extra large)

  1 cup or 134g

• Vinegar

  Distilled

  ¼ cup or 60g

• Sugar

  White, granulated sugar

Directions

1. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, tomato, olives, and chives. Mix well.
2. Prepare the dressing by whisking together the tomato sauce, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic powder, oregano, and pepper. Pour enough dressing over the salad to coat, toss, and serve.
