Directions

  1. Put water and plantain in a blender and puree till smooth.
  2. Put water in a pot and let it boil.
  3. Stir the plantain mixture into the pot and boil for 5 minutes. Stir vigorously, lower the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Stir in the milk, margarine, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and vanilla. Boil for 2 more minutes and serve hot.
