  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. Slice potatoes at both ends, then peel and cut into large cylinders.
  3. Soak potatoes in water for 5 minutes to remove startch
  4. Remove potatoes from water and pat dry.
  5. In a large pan, sear potatoes on both sides for 5 mins. Season with Salt and pepper.
  6. Add broth, thyme, rosemary, garlic, and butter to pan.
  7. Finish cooking potatoes in oven until fork tender, about 30 minutes.
