Directions
- Blend quark with 30 grams of shredded cucumber, the tablespoon of olive oil, and salt, pepper, and a dash of onion powder. Place aside.
- Thinly slice cabbage to have long, stringy pieces. Grate the carrot and dice the remaining 60 grams of cucumber, and mix into the cabbage. Add 20g of very thinly sliced onion to the mix. (This is the base salad for the meal.)
- Cube (into small cubes) or grate the cheese. Set aside.
- Quarter the mushrooms and pan fry them with the tablespoon of canola oil. Add in the remaining 50g of onions thickly sliced. When they look ready to eat, add in the fake gyro meat and continue sauteeing until the meat starts to get crispy.
- Plate the dish, Salad goes on the bottom, then the hot stuff (meat with shrooms and onions), then the cheese, then the quark topping on top. GUTEN APPETIT!
