- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Pulse the onion, garlic, and ginger in the food processor until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over low heat. Add the onion/garlic/ginger purée, cover, and cook about five minutes to mellow the flavor, stirring occasionally.
