- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Combine 2 1/2 cups water with 2 cups of brown rice. Bring to a bowl, reduce to a simmer, and cook covered for 30-45 minutes until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and set aside.
