  1. Clean and trim the cauliflower, breaking it into medium-sized pieces.
  2. Place cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl with heavy whipping cream and butter. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 6 minutes.
  3. Stir to coat cauliflower with the cream/butter mixture. Microwave for another 6 minutes on high.
  4. Remove from the microwave and put into a high-speed blender or food processor along with the cheese. Puree until smooth.
