  1. Steep the tea, making it as strong as you like, using whichever tea you prefer.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the milk or half n half, cinnamon stick (you can use ground cinnamon instead), vanilla, peppercorns, cardamom, ground ginger, allspice, brown sugar, and nutmeg.
  3. Bring the milk to a simmer, turn it off and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the milk through a fine mesh sieve.
  5. Froth up the milk with the milk frother (optional).
  6. Pour the milk into the tea. Spoon some of the foam (if you frothed the milk) on top of the Chai Tea Latte.
