Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel and chop the garlic and ginger. Then fry both in oil on a medium heat and in a large saucepan for a minute. Be careful not to burn.
  2. Drain and rinse the beans then add them to the pan. Cook for two minutes, adding two tablespoons of water as you go.
  3. Remove from the heat, add the salt, pepper and lime juice. Use a potato masher or even fork to mash it all up into a smooth paste. Alternatively, pour into blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  4. Serve warm or cold with celery sticks for dipping.
