Directions
- Whisk the eggs in a bowl with pepper and half of the butter broken apart in pieces. Chop green onion.
- Heat the remaining butter in a skillet on medium-high heat.
- Let the butter completely melt. Once it begins to bubble and darken in color, pour the eggs in the skillet. Cover and reduce heat to medium, let cook for about 2 minutes.
- Add slices of gouda on top of the eggs, along with half of the chopped green onion, cover and let the cheese melt.
- Once melted, fold the eggs to make an omelet, place on a plate and garnish with remaining chopped green onion.
- Serve and enjoy!
